Target recalls Home Bunny Sippy Cups due to injury danger

Retail giant Target Corp. is recalling about 264,000 of its Home Bunny Sippy Cups, says the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The rabbit-shaped toddler training cups from Target have protruding ears which can poke a child in the eye area during use.

The CPSC says the Target Corp. of Minneapolis, Minn., has received six reports of the Target Home Bunny Sippy Cups injuring children during routine use.

Lately, I’ve had a lot of trouble with lower back pain. It isn’t something that started suddenly. I remember the first time I really felt like I hurt my back. I was 42 and bending over the bed to change my baby’s diaper. Yes, I realize having a baby at 41 probably put enough strain on my back alone. Anyhow, I bent over and something went kapow and I could hardly stand up. I walked funny for about a week until it cleared up. Just from bending over!

Little Rock – The state of Arkansas is taking legal proceedings against a subsidiary of ‘big pharma’ company Johnson and Johnson over the marketing of an antipsychotic drug. The state claims that the drug’s side effects were suppressed. A subsidiary company of drugs giant Johnson and Johnson, called Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc., allegedly improperly marketed an antipsychotic drug and misled doctors about the potential side effects of the medicine, according to a lawyer representing the state of Arkansas. According to ABC News, the state of Arkansas is seeking the drugs company to be fined for each of the 250,000 Risperdal prescriptions issued to the state’s Medicaid publicly. Find more…
