BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tooth decay is the most chronic disease among children. In one year, more than 51 million hours of school is missed because of tooth decay or other dental-related illness. And even when children with dental problems can attend school, research shows that these problems are distracting enough to impair classroom learning and behavior.
Yet, in all of Chautauqua County, there is only one pediatric dentist who accepts Medicaid.

Ive been asked a lot about comedonal acne lately, which is great because it means were starting to gain more of an understanding about how acne inflammations are formed. If you have clogged up pores then you have the perfect breeding ground for inflammations. Blackheads and whiteheads are something we really want to prevent.
Its important to note here first that if youre looking at your skin an inch away from the mirror or if youre using a magnifying glass then Id rather you didnt. And no, those are not clogged up pores. Often well have oil pockets in our pores that can look misleadingly like blackheads when theyre not.
